Snow ... Or Not

It continues NOT to snow, or even slightly precipitate in this area.  We are all sulking considerably.  Friends and family in parts further north cannot believe we have had nothing, not even a flake, but that's what you get living in the balmy (-4 tonight folks!) South.

I seem to have inadvertently taken a blogging holiday.   Sorry!  We Advented our way through our lovely activity calendar, and I will update with photos of the crafty ideas we made, (once I find the camera), the children have had lovely gifts, we've all enjoyed some really tasty food, and we're enjoying being at home all together.  Even Teflon boy is at home for a few days - hooray - someone else for the kids to be snotty on!

Happy New Year, may 2010 be wonderful for you all, and thank you for reading this past year.

Yes, I know, January 26th cannot really be happy new year for non-chinese people, but I'm jumpin' on the bandwagon anyway.

Been in a blogging/life slump lately, but it's time to snap out of it and get on with some work. Hoping to get some crafting going soon (as soon as I shake off this cough I've got ... more germs at Germ Central), together with a few shop updates, and some decent pictures.

To start us off this year, here are some Chinese Lanterns, thanks to Amber at Kids Craft Weekly for the great idea - so easy to make, the children were impressed.
