Traditional

Well, Happy New Year to everyone. I'm sat here, with my two young children, watching a film (a rare event in this house!); one knitting, and one weaving on a home-made cardboard box loom. Truly, it warms my heart. The rule in our home when I was small back in the mid-seventies, was that any (also rare) TV watching was to be accompanied by similar 'activity for hands'. It seems some traditions do carry on.

Here's hoping that 2012 will bring happy moments, peace and health to all.

  1. What a lovely idea, and gets the children into crafts from an early age. Happy New Year to you. I just found your blog via tiny happy.
